Head, Neck & Shoulders
Eyes
Correct posture should minimise awkward neck movements.
Viewing distance from screen should be 380mm - 810mm
For correct screen height, the top of the computer screen should be at eye level

Place the copyholder on the side of your dominant eye.

Proper body posture is when the eyes, shoulders and hips are in a straight line

Back - Adjust the seat height for correct posture

 

 

 

Reduce monitor brightness and static, minimise glare, reflection and on-screen flicker.

Forearms, Wrists & Hands

 

Do not sit in the same position for long periods
 
Forearms should be parallel to the floor.
Utilise well-positioned lumbar support
 
Bottom of the elbow should be level with the home row of the keyboard.
 
Avoid bending hands at the wrists when typing (wrists should remain at a similar height to the keyboard or mouse).
Legs & Feet
The correct seat height  is when the thighs are parallel to the floor, with the feet flat and knees level with the hips
Ensure adequate space from back of knee to seat pan (min 50mm).
Support legs and feet.
